Golfer Henrik Stenson with his First Major Victory Sets Sight on Glory of Rio 2016

After getting his first biggest title with his awesome performance at the weekend’s Open in Scotland, the golfer Henrik Stenson has set his view on the August months Olympic Games glory in the Rio de Janeiro.

All the top golf male players have opted out of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, but Stenson who is in fifth place at the official world ranking in golf at present is looking forward for getting the opportunity to play at Rio.

Stenson Says – He is Not Feared of Mosquitoes 

Stenson has told that he has been excited to go as well as to get the feel of the atmosphere of the Olympic games since long times. He also added that, he wanted to try as well as play and do himself and the nation proud by bringing a medal to the home country.

Young golf players such as Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth where among the other players who have mentioned concerns regarding the zika virus for not playing in the Rio Olympic Games this year, but Henrik Stenson said that has never been an issue for him. Recently, he has said to the reporters that, he is not frightened of mosquitoes rather he is more scared of bears.
